“The Slim” Gillian (a.k.a. SlimTronic5000) has been playing music professionally for the last 10 years, and is currently on tour with “FELLOWBLISS”, an aggressive rock/hip-hop band from SW Florida. You can see and hear The Slim live in concert, television performances and recorded albums with FELLOWBLISS and many others.
Not much is known about the entity known as ‘The Slim’. Those who think they know him will tell you a story that goes something like this:
“Bleh, blah, bleh, blah… plays guitar… bleh, blah, bleh, blah… reads on a third-grade level… bleh, blah, bleh, blah… has bad hair.”
Born May the Fourth in an unknown year (most speculate that it was circa 1983, however there are accounts that date him back to the yearly 1800’s) in S. Charleston, WV into a home that was destined to be broken.
Growing up in the home with a Piano Instructor and Vocalist (Stella Parton, Barry Manilow) for a mother and a Brass player and Live Audio Engineer for a father, music was not an option for 5000, rather an obligation.
The younger brother of acclaimed drummer, “The Bishop” (Brad Thompson), Slim was pushed hard through the last 16+ years as a musician.
As most would attest, it’s not Slim’s ability (or lack thereof) to play music that draws you to him… it’s his attitude and presence that sucks you in.
As a whole he represents good in times of evil…
The Slim himself, not his music, is the true anomaly.
