As some of you may know, last September I suffered a gnarly back injury. This injury has been completely debilitating. I can’t walk, I can’t stand, I lift stuff, etc. As one could imagine, that makes playing in a band rather difficult. It’s been the biggest reason that I’ve not really launched at new project yet.
After the split of Fellowbliss, Matty, myself, and our manager The Bishop began to sit and write some new tunes, and even started to lay some rough recordings down in anticipation of a new project. Sadly, I had to put that on hold to focus on my health and a few things with my career.
While I’m still in immense amounts of pain, I can feel my body healing. I feel a little bit better every week. I had been walking with a cane for several months, but have not had to use my cane for many weeks now. That’s a good sign. Before long, I feel like I will be rehabilitated and can begin once again to work on our new project.
If you’re the praying type, please pray for my back and health. I’m ready to get back to some playing, or at least more heavy-duty writing, and ready for this injury to stop being in the way!
I’m looking forward to the future, and I hope that you all are as well! Thank you all so much for your love, support, and encouragement.
